Getting to Batam: The Ferry
The only way to reach Batam from Singapore or Malaysia is by ferry. There are no direct flights between Singapore and Batam. The ferry journey takes 45–60 minutes and departs from HarbourFront (VivoCity) or Tanah Merah ferry terminal in Singapore.
Three main operators serve this route: BatamFast, Sindo Ferry, and Horizon Fast Ferry. Ferries run from approximately 7am to 9pm daily. Book online in advance, especially for weekends.
